Acatel A7 and A7 XL smartphones uveiled.

TCL Communication’s Alcatel brand has announced two new smartphones under its A7 series. They include Alcatel A7 and A7 XL mobiles.
The Alcatel A7 is priced at €229.99 and comes in Black and Gold colors. The A7 XL costs €279.99 and comes in Metal Black, Metal Blue, Metal Gold and Rose gold colors.

Alcatel A7

It measures 152.7 x 76.5 x 8.95 mm and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It has fingerprint sensor and audio enhancements by Dirac Research.
The phone features in a 5.5-inch super bright IPS multi-touch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek processor with 3GB RAM for smooth multitasking.
The Alcatel A7 specs include 32GB internal storage and allows further expansion upt o 128GB using MicroSD card.
It has 4000 mAh fast charging (9V1.67A) battery that offers 22 hours of talk time, up to 62 hours of music or up to 8 hours of video. It can go up to 37%  in 30 minutes of charging.
The handset boasts an 8MP front camera (fixed focus with front flash) for selfies and video calling. On the back side is 16MP primary shooter with dual-tone LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture and PDAF.
It has refined designed with spin-effect textured cover.  It supports 4G VoLTE (via Nano SIM) with data reaching at Cat6 speeds. Usual options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.2, NFC, GPS are supported.

Alcatel A7 XL

This one is more of a phablet, featuring a 6-inch LTPS-IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It uses Full Lamination tech, comes with Dragontrail glass and supports multi-touch.
The cell phone has dimensions of 159.6 x 81.5 x 8.65 mm and weighs 175 grams. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS, comes with Fingerprint sensor, Google Assistant and DTS enhanced audio effects.
The Alcatel A7 XL specs include octa-core (1.5GHz x 4 + 1GHz x 4) MediaTek MT6750 processor with 3GB RAM. It has 32GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 32GB using MicroSD card.
It has 4000 mAh battery that fully charges up in less than 3 hours. It also supports 9V,1.67A charging. The battery is claimed to offer 18 hours (2G) / 17 hours (3G) talk time and about 610 hours of 4G standby.
The A7 XL features a dual camera setup at the back with dual-tone LED flash. It consists of 12MP+2MP snappers. They support HDR, pDAF, refocus, RT-Bokeh and 1080p video recording. On the front side is 5MP selfie camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capabilities.
The handset supports 4G VoLTE (dual SIM slots), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS etc.
