Acer announces Predator Triton 500 and Nitro 5 laptops

Acer has announced two new gaming laptops called Predator Triton 500 and Nitro 5. They are priced at US$ 2199.99 (RS. 1,67,400 approx.) and US$ 799.99 (Rs. 57,050 approx.) respectively and will be available from May 2020.

Acer Predator Triton 500

Weighing in at 2.1 Kg, this gaming laptop sports a 15.6-inch IPS display which offers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with optional 300Hz refresh rate. There is 3ms response time as well.

The Acer Predator Tirton 500 comes with 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10750H processor and can be paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q Graphics. It boots on Windows 10.

The laptop comes with Acer’s Vortex Flow technology, which includes three custom-engineered fans placed inside the chassis. These not only increases air flow but also reduce noise. Additionally, it has 4th Generation All-metal AeroBlade 3D fan.

The Predator Triton 500 can be configured with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up to 2TB SSD. The battery inside offers up to 7.5 hours of battery life. In terms of connectivity, there is Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i, E3100G Ethernet controller and Control Center 2.0. You also get HDMI, three USB Type-A, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack.

Acer Nitro 5

The Acer Nitro 5 features in 15.6-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, offers up to 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time.

Inside, you can configure the laptop with up to 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10750H processor with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. It also comes with 4 heat vents and dual-fan cooling system, a combination leveraging CoolBoost technology to offer 25% improved thermal performance from its predecessor.

The Acer Nitro 5 supports up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD or 1TB HDD storage. It runs on Windows 10 and includes Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX021 (802.11ax), Killer Ethenet E2600, HDMI, three USB Type-A, USB Type-C, Mini Display port and 3.5mm audio jack.
