Acer has announced range of Swift Notebooks at ongoing IFA 2016, Berlin. Company has introduced Swift 7, Swift 5, Swift 3 and S1 laptops at the event.
The Acer Swift 7 has 13.3-Inch 1080p IPS display and features uni-body all-aluminium design. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass on top for scratch resistance. It has Intel Core i7 (7th gen) processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. It comes with Windows 10 OS and HDR web camera. This model house Kaby lake chipset and boasts fan-less design.
The Acer Swift 7 price starts at US$ 999 in North America, €1,299 in EMEA and CNY 6999 in China. It will be available in China in September while US and EMEA will get stocks by October 2016.
The Acer Swift 5 is just 14.58 mm thick and weighs about 1.36 KG. It is Windows 10 Notebook with metal chassis and is powered by 7th gen Intel Core processors. It comes with SSD, USB Type-C 3.1 port and Finger print sensor. It carries price-tag of US$ 749.
The Acer Swift 3 is slightly thicker the Swift 5, measuring in at 17.95mm thickness and 1.5kg weight. It has the same metal chassis, i7 Intel core processors, Solid State Drives, USB 3.1 Type-C ports, Fingerprint scanner etc. This Windows Notebook will cost about US$ 499.
The Acer Swift 1 features 14-inch 720p display and has options of Intel Pentium or Celeron processor inside. It supports up to 4GB memory and 32GB / 64GB / 1128GB eMMC storage. The laptop weighs about 1.6kg and is 17.9mm thick. It is priced at just US$ 249 and will go on sale in November 2016.
