Acer has introduced its new Chromebook 11 N7 (C731) at CES 2017. It meets U.S. MIL-STD 81G Military standard and can handle 60kg of downward force.
It comes with spill-resistant keyboard the protects against spills of up to 330ml of water. It has a unique gutter system that routes water away from internal hardware and out at bottom chassis.
The laptop features corner-shielded structure. It has rubber bumper keyboard that allows it to tolerate drops from heights of up to 48-inches. Moreover, the notebook has fanless design which keeps it quiet and cool.
It has 16GB / 32GB eMMC storage options and comes with built-in SD card reader. The Chromebook runs on Chrome OS and allows users to download Android apps via Google Play Store (in future).
The battery inside offers up to 12 hours of usage time. It includes Dual-Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth V4.0, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port and 3.5mm combo audio port.
