Acer Liquid Z6 and Liquid Z6 Plus announced at IFA 2016

Acer has announced two of its latest smartphones, dubbed at Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus at IFA 2016 event in Berlin, Germany.
The Z6 is clearly a mid-ranger however, Liquid Z6 Plus has some muscle. It is unlikely for both of these mobiles to land in US. However, Acer did reveal that both of these smartphones will start rolling out in Europe, Africa and Middle East later this year.
The Acer Liquid Z6 features in a 5-Inch 2.5D glass display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 1.25GHz (max) quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The hardware is backed by 1GB RAM, 8GB storage ROM and allows further expansion as well.  It has 2000 mAh battery inside that fuels the hardware. On the front is 2MP snapper while 8MP camera sits on the back with LED Flash.

The Liquid Z6 Plus specs include 5.5-Inch 1080p display and is powered by Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor. It has 3GB RAM for smooth multitasking. The smartphone is equipped with 5MP front facing camera while a 13MP main snapper is affixed at the back.  The  phone has a decent 4080 mAh battery capacity that is expected to last atleast a day.

Both the phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. The Acer Liquid Z6 is priced at €119 (US$ 130)  while the Liquid Z6 Plus will cost you €249 (US$ 180).
