Acer has unveiled its latest laptop lineup under its Swift Series. They include Swift 5 (SF515-51T), Swift 5 (SF514-53T), Swift 3 (SF313-51), Swift 3 (SF314-55 / SF314-55G) and Swift 3 (SF314-56 / SF-314-56G).
The Acer Swift 5 with 15-inch display (SF515-51T) price starts at €1,099 in EMEA and 7,499 Yuan in China. It will go on sale in November 2018. Pricing in US Starts at $1,099 and available in North America in January, 2019
The Acer Swift 5 with 14-inch display (SF514-53T) price starts at €999, available in EMEA in September. It will go on sale in China, in November with its pricing starting at 7,499 yuan.
The Acer Swift 3 with 13-inch display (SF313-51) price-tag starts at €799 and will be available in EMEA in October. The Acer Swift 3 with 14-inch displays (SF314-55 and SF314-56) price starts at $799.99 and available in North America in November, and in EMEA in January, 2019, starting at €799.
Starting with Swift 5 (SF515-51T) which is also world’s lightest 15-inch laptop with weight of just 990 grams.The notebook houses 15.6-inch Full HD touch-screen display with 5.87mm bezels and 87.6% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U / Core i5-8265U processor. It can be configured with up to 16GB DDR4 SDRAM, up to 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD. The Swift 5 SF515-51T features in magnesium-aluminum alloy palm rest, keyboard with palm rest and fingerprint reader (supports Windows Hello). It has Acer TureHarmony technology and optimized Dolby Audio and dual stereo speakers. Connectivity wise, it has WiFi 2×2 802.11ac, USB 3.1 Type-C Gen-2 port, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports (one with power-off charging functionality), and an HDMI port.
The Acer Swift 3 (SF313-51) has a even smaller 13.3-inch Full HD Display. It comes with Intel core processors and can be configured with up to 8GB DDR4 RAM. It also has options for up to 512GB NVMe PCIe SSDs, 2×2 802.11ac Wi-Fi. There is also an option to integrate 4G LTE connectivity. Its battery inside is said to offer up to 13 hours of usage.
The Swift 3 (SF314-55/SF314-55G) comes with super-thin 6.1mm side bezels and a Full HD resolution display size of 14-inch. It comes with 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U / Core i5-8265U / Core i3-8145U processor with NVDIA GeForce MX150 graphics. One can get up to 12 hours of battery life. The Notebook comes with up to 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSDs. Connectivity wise, it supports 2×2 802.11ac Gigabit WiFi and USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2 port.
The Swift 3 (SF314-56/SF-314-56G) has a slightly larger design with specs similar to SF314-55/SF314-55G. It has same 14-inch Display, SoC options but has room for hard-disk drive. There is an even larger touchpad in this one.
