Acer, under its TravelMate X3 Series, has announced its latest Windows 10 laptop called the TravelMate X349. It is a stylish notebook aimed at small / medium businesses and professionals.
The laptop sports a metal design, stylish and enclosed in a sleek all-aluminium chassis with brushed metal finish. It is just 18mm thin and weighs about 1.53 kg.
The Acer TravelMate X349 features a 14-Inch IPS display. The screen has 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution and comes with 180-degree wide viewing angles.
It has 6th Generation Intel Core processor (selections available) and supports up to 8GB DDR4 RAM. It can take up to 512GB SSDs and is clamed to have 10 hours of battery life.
The X349 runs on Windows 10 Pro OS and comes with integrated touch fingerprint sensor. It also supports Windows Hello for secure sign-in and includes Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip. It also has Acer ProShield Manage to safeguard sensitive data.
The notebook houses LED backlit keyboard (chiclet-style) provides excellent tactile feedback as well to ensure accurate typing. It also has wide Precision Touchpad for comfortable and responsive navigation.
The Acer Travel Mate X349 pricing starts at $649.99 in North America, and will be available in October. EMEA regions will get the stocks in September and will have price-tag of €480. The laptop is priced at CNY 5,999 in Chinese markets will be available in September.
