Alcatel 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) officially announced

The Alcatel 1X, which was introduced at MWC 2018 now gets an even cheaper variant which is called as Alcatel 1. The handset also was spotted at Alcatel Russia’s website about a week back.
The Alcatel 1 measures 137.6 x 65.7 x 9.8 mm and weighs 134 grams. It has Single / Dual SIM options with 4G VoLTE support. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition and comes pre-installed with Google’s Go Apps for better performance.
There is a unique Social Model which is an intuitive photo editing suite. Users can also share photos in quickly and in fun manner thanks to tools like Social Square, Photo Booth, Instant Collage etc.

The Alcatel 1 specs include 5-inch FWVGA+ display with 960 x 480 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is 1.28GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU.
The smartphone features in 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 32GB using MicroSD card. It is powered by 2000 mAh battery.
A 2MP (interpolated to 5MP) sits at the front while a 5MP (interpolated to 8MP) shooter is placed at the back along with LED Flash. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS and 3.5mm Audio Jack are present.
The Alcatel 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) phone price is set at €79 / US$ 89 (Rs. 6,130 approx.) and come in Black, Blue, Rose Gold and Metallic Gold colors. It will roll out in select markets from July.
