Alcatel A30 Plus, Idol 5S and A50 smartphones announced

Alcatel has announced three new smartphones in U.S. called A30 Plus, Idol 5S and A50. All of them run on Android Nougat OS. They are available in US under Amazon Prime Exclusive Program.

Alcatel A30 Plus

It has 5.5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has Asahi Dragontrail glass protection for scratch resistance.
The handset measures 151.8 x 76.9 x 8.38 mm and weighs 158 grams. It has 3000 mAh battery that powers the hardware.
The Alcatel A30 Plus specs include 1.5Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6738 processor with mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 32GB.
A 5MP snapper sits on the front while the back side sports a 13MP Auto Focus camera with LED Flash.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/A-GPS, MicroUSB V2.0, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack.
The Alcatel A30 Plus is priced at $129.99 (Rs. 8,400) and comes in Black with Metallic Silver color. It will be released on July 10, 2017 and is up for pre-oder at Amazon.com.

Alcatel Idol 5S

The mobile has dimensions of 148.5 x 70.8 x 7.36 mm and has weight of 148.8 grams.It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS and comes with Fingerprint sensor on the back side.
It has 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass Dragontrail display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 2620 mAh battery inside.
Under the hood is a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor (14nm) with Adreno 506 GPU. It is paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and is expandable up to 512GB using MicroSD card.
The Alcatel Idol 5S Specs include 8MP front camera with OmniVision OV8865 sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and 78-degree wide-angle lens. On the back side is 12MP primary shooter with F/2.0 Aperture, OmniVision OV12870 Sensor, PDAF, CAF and dual-tone LED Flash.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C etc.
The Alcatel Idol 5S carries price-tag of $279.99 (Rs. 18,100) and comes in Crystal Black color. It is up for pre-order at Amazon.com and will be available from July 10th, 2017.

Alcatel A50

It is a 4G LTE smartphone with 5.2-Inch IPS display and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has Asahi Dragontrail glass protection for added durability.
It measures 146 x 71.8 x 7.87 mm and weighs 145 grams. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and houses 2800 mAh battery.
The Alcatel A50 specs include 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6738 processor with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM.
It has 16GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card. A 5MP camera sits on the front and has LED flash as well. On the back side is 13MP Auto Focus camera with dual-tone LED Flash.
Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack are also supported.
The Alcatel A50 price is set at $149.99 (Rs. 9,700) and comes in Metal Silver color options. It is up for pre-order at Amazon.com and will go on sale from July 10th.
