Alcatel announces A5 LED, A3, U5 smartphones and PLUS 12 tablet

Alcatel has announced three new smartphones at MWC 2017 called A5 LED, A3 and U5. Company has also unveiled its latest 2-in-1 tablet called PLUS 12.

Alcatel A5 LED

The phone has dimensions of 146 x 72.1 x 7.7 mm (10.2mm with LED). It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE.
The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is powered by 2800 mAH battery.
The A5 LED specs include 5.2-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 GPU.
It has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (expandable). It has 5MP front and 8MP auto focus camera on the back with F/2.0 Aperture, dual tone LED flash.
Connectivity options include 02.11b/g/n, WiFi direct,Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS, Micro USB 2.0 etc.

Alcatel A3

The smartphone packs in 5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 1.25GHz octa-core processor and 1.5GB RAM.
It’s 16GB internal memory is further expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 OS.
The Alcatel A3 specs include 5MP front and 13MP rear snapper with LED flash. It has Dual SIM slots inside and supports 4G LTE.
The mobile is fuelled by 2460 mAh battery. It also supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, VoWIFI, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.2, NFC (5046Y), GPS/A-GPS etc.

Alcatel U5

It is an entry level phone with 5-inch display and 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA resolution. The device has dimensions of 140.7 x 71.8 x 9.95mm.
The U5 Features in 1.1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage ROM and 2050 mAH battery.
The handset is equipped with 2MP front camera and 5MP rear camera with LED Flash. It has front facing speakers and fingerprint sensor as well.
Usuall connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, MicroUSB V2.0 etc are present as well.

Alcatel PLUS 12 2-in-1

it is a 2-in-1 tablet with measurements of 284 x 175 x 7.9 mm (tablet). It has 11.6-Inch display with 1980 x 1020 pixels resolution.
Under the hood is an Intel Celeron N3350 Processor,  coupled with 4GB RAM. It has 32GB eMMC SSD and 32GB MicroSD card. It allows further expansion up to 128GB as well.
The PLUS 12 runs on Windows 10 OS. It has 26.8WHr battery. It is also equipped with 5MP rear snapper.
It has 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, Micro HDMI and 3.5mm Audio Jack. It also comes with a keyboard which is powered by Qualcomm MDM9207 and has 128MB of RAM.
The keyboard also comes with 2580 mAH battery, full-size USB-A port and allows 4G LTE and Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 15 devices.
Alcatel did not reveal pricing and availability details for these devices.
