Alcatel has officially introduced its latest flagship phone running on Windows 10 Mobile OS called the IDOL 4S. It’s Android version is already available at T-Mobile and now, carrier will also sell Windows 10 version of Alcatel IDOL 4S.
The phone has dimensions of 153.9 x 75.4 x 6.99 mm and weighs 152 grams. It has premium all glass body and halo gold metallic frame.The handset supports 4G LTE and is powered by 3000 mAh Battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It offers about 800 minutes of talk time and 420 hours of standby. Moreover, 4S is VR ready as well.
The mobile comes with free 45-day trial for Hulu Plus and 30-day trial for Microsoft Groove music service. Moreover it also comes bundled with free copy of Windows 10 Mobile game Halo: Spartan Assault. It has Fingerprint sensor on the back with Windows Hello for enhanced security and usability.
The Alcatel IDOL 4S Window 10 Specs include 5.5-Inch AMOLED Display with 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution. The screen has Dragontrail glass protection and supports multi-touch as well.
The cellphone features 21MP main snapper on the back with Sony IMX230 Sensor, fast focus and 4K video recording at 30fps. On the front is 8MP selfie snapper, equipped with 84-degree wide angle lens. The mobile comes with dedicated camera button as well.
The Alcatel IDOL 4S Windows 10 variant features dual 1.2W multi-directional speakers. It has Hi-Fi audio as well for immersive sound experiences. It also includes Accelerometer (G Sensor), Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, Hall Sensor, Gyro and e-compass.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, USB Type-C, GPS etc.
The Alcatel IDOL 4S with Windows 10 is priced at $469 ($19.50 / month approx.) at T-Mobile. It will be available starting November 10th.
