Amazon has officially launched its all-new Fire HD 10 Kids Edition Tablet in US. It has same specs sheet of Fire HD 10 2017 but comes with added kids friendly features.
The Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids edition comes with kids-proof rubber casing and comes in Blue, Yellow and Purple colors. It is not only durable but light weight.
Parents gets ability control screen time for kids and limit content. There are smart filters which ensures that your child sees only age-appropriate content.
Amazon is offering 2 years of warranty with this one. Along with it, e-commerce giant is also offering 1 year of FreeTime Unlimited and access to special apps, educational apps, videos, games, more than 15000 books and additional parental controls.
In terms of specifications, it has 10.1-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution at 224ppi pixel density. The Fire HD 10 Kids edition specs include 1.8GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB storage (about 25.1GB user available), which is further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
This kids tablet measures 294 x 188 x 26 mm and weighs about 660 grams. It’s battery life offers about 10 hours of reading, surfing web, watching video and listening to music.The battery can be fully charged in 5 hours using MicroUSB power adapter
A VGA camera sits at the front while a 2MP shooter with 720p recording is placed at the back. The Tablet features in dual Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and built-in Microphone. The device also supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and houses Ambient light sensor and accelerometer.
