Qulacomm has recently announced its latest SoC called Snapdragon 835. It is based Samsung’s 10nm FinFET process. One more detail that Qualcomm revealed in the announcement that, chipset will support Quick Charge 4.0.
Now, Alleged specifications of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 have surface. The leak from China also reveals a new Snapdragon 660 processor system-on-chip in the making.
The Snapdragon 835 (MSM8998) is said to feature four big kryo cores and four smaller ones (unknown clock speeds). It will have Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. The SoC is said to have X16 modem capable of supporting 1Gbps LTE speeds. It will use UFS 2.1 storage and support 4 x LPDDR4 RAM at 1866MHz clock speeds.
The Snapdragon 660 (MSM8976 Plus) is expected have similar four small Kryo and four larger Kryo cores (2.2GHz x 4 + 1.9GHz x 4) coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. It is said to have X10 modem , UFS 2.1 and 2 x LPDDR4 RAM at 1866MHz clock speeds.
