Amazfit has officially unveiled its latest smartwatch called Amazfit Ares. It has a polycarbonate build and comes with 5ATM water resistant rating.
The Amazfit Ares comes with 70 sports mode and houses FIRSTBEAT Professional sports analysis algorithm (checks VO2 Max, Recovery time, Training Load, Training effects) and huami-PAI health assessment system to enhance fitness activities and challenging self limits.
The fitness watch also comes with Huami’s self developed sports algorithm which monitors and records 40 key sports indicators like heart rate, speed, altitude. The heartbeats are tracked using BioTracker PPG bio-tracking optical heart rate sensor.
The Amazfit Ares specs include 1.28-inch always-on touch display and houses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. There is an anti-fingerprint coating as well. The smartwatch is compatible with most Android smartphones and iOS devices.
It has 200mAh battery which offers about 90 days of usage on basic watch mode. In daily use mode, you get about 14 days of battery life while with GPS on, one gets about 23 hours of usage. On that note, there is GPS + GLONAA for route tracking.
