Huami has officially introduced its Amazfit BIP S smartwatch for Indian markets. It was first unveiled at CES 2020 and launched in China in April.
The Huami Amazfit BIP S comes with 5ATM water resistant rating (up to 50 meters) and uses Bluetooth V4.2 to connect with most Android Smartphones and iOS devices.
It has dimensions of 42 x 35.3 x 11.4 mm and weighs 31 grams. The smartwatch features in 1.28-inch Always-On (color) reflective touch display with 176 x 176 pixels resolution. The screen comes with Anti Fingerprint coating and comes with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Once connected with smartphones, the BIP S can be used to control music on the phone. It also shows notifications about calls, messages, emails, weather and other social apps.
The Huami Amazfit BIP S features in optical heart rate sensor for tracking heart beats / heart rate zones. It also includes tri-axis gyro and tri-axis accelerometer. It also integrates Huami-PAI personal activity indicator which gives you details about heart health and overall fitness.
The smartwatch offers 10 different sports modes like Walking, Outdoor running, Treadmill, Indoor cycling, Outdoor cycling, open weather, pool yoga, elliptical training and free style. It has GPS + GLONASS support for rout tracking as well.
The Amazfit BIP S is powered by 2000mAh battery. Company claims that on basic use, the smartwatch lasts about 40 days. It gives about 15 days battery life with typical use, 22 hours with continuous GPS and 80 days on watch mode.
The Amazfit BIP S price in India is Rs. 4999 and comes in Black, Blue, White and Pink colors. It will go on sale at Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra and Amazfit India website. You can also get it at offline stores of Croma, Reliance Digital and Poorvika Mobiles across country.
