Huami has announced two new smartwatches called Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2.
The Amazfit GTR 2 price is 999 Yuan (US$ 147 / Rs. 10,830 approx.) and comes in Obsidian Black color. The Amazfit GTR2 Sports version with aluminum alloy body and Silicone strap and its classic version with leather strap costs 1099 Yuan (US$ 162 / Rs. 11,920 approx.).
The Amazfit GTS 2 price is 999 Yuan (US$ 147 / Rs. 10,830 approx.) and comes in Obsidian Black, Dolphin Gray and Gold colors.
Amazfit GTR 2
The smartwatch has measurements of 46.4 x 46.4 x 10.7 mm and weighs 31.5 grams (Sports) / 39 grams (Classic) (both weight without strap).
It has 5ATM rating for water resistance up to 50 meters. It has Bluetooth V5.0 LE for easy connectivity with smartphones. The wearable also includes microphone and three magnetic super linear speakers to attend calls or access Xiao AI Voice assistant.
The Amazfit GTR2 features in 1.39-inch AMOLED display with scratch-resistant diamond carbon coating. The screen offers 454 x 454 pixels resolution, 326ppi pixel density and delivers 450nits brightness.
Also bundled inside is Huami’s self-developed BioTracker, 2 PPG with support for measuring Blood Oxygen levels, a biological data sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light and air pressure sensors.
The Amazfit GTR 2 comes with 471mAh battery which offers up to 14 days of battery life. In basic watch mode, you can get up to 38 days of battery.
The smartwatch comes with support for Wi-Fi (2.4GHz), NFC and GPS/GLONASS. It has 4GB of on board storage for standalone music playback. It has Smart PA audio amplifier as well.
Amazfit GTS 2
The Amazfit GTS2 specs include a larger 1.65-inch AMOLED display with 348 x 442 pixels resolution and 341ppi pixel density. It has scratch-resistant diamond like carbon coating.
It has Bluetooth V5.0 LE and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It has 12 different sports modes and allows activity tracking and sleep monitoring.
The Amazfit GTS 2 features in 246mAh battery which offers up to 7 days of battery life. It is extended up to 20 days with long battery life mode.
The smartwatch comes with 5ATM water resistant rating. It has microphone and a speaker for taking calls or accessing to Xiao Ai voice assistant. There is 4GB of internal memory for stand-alone music playback.
The GTS2 measures 42.8 x35.6 x 9.7 mm and weighs about 24.7 grams. It has Wi-Fi (2.4GHz), NFC and GPS/GLONASS.
There are array of sensors inside which include Huami’s very own BioTracker, 2 PPG (with support for checking Blood Oxygen), Ambient Light, Air Pressure, Geomagnetic, Gyroscope, Accelerometer and Biological data sensors.
