Xiaomi’s Huami brand has introduced two new wearables which include Amazfit Verge Smartwatch and Amazfit Health Band 1S. Both of them offer continuous heart rate monitoring and are water resistant.
Along with company also unveiled Huangshan No. 1 AI SoC which has clock speed up to 240MHz and 55nm manufacturing process. It comes integrated with AON (Always On) module and can localize AI tasks. The chip has ultra-low-power sensor data collection module that automatically transfers sensor data into internal SRAM for faster and stable data storage.
The Amazfit Verge price is 799 Yuan (US$ 116 / Rs. 8,450 approx.) while the Amazfit Health Band 1S costs 699 Yuan (US$ 100 / Rs. 7,380 approx.).

Amazfit Verge Specifications

The smartwatch is light weight, weighing in at just 46 grams. It is water and dust resistant comes with IP68 rating. It is compatible with most smartphones running on Android 4.4+ or iOS 9.0+.
The Amazfit Verge features in 1.3-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and offers 360 x 360 pixels resolution.  Under the hood is 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB eMMC storage space.
It is equipped with Optical Heart rate monitor (PPG) for tracking heartbeats. The smartwatch also comes with array of sensors like Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient light sensor, Air Pressure sensor, wearing detection sensor and gyroscope.
The Amazfit Verge is powered by 390 mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to 5 days. Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth V4/0 LE, GPS/GLONASS and NFC.

Amazfit Health Band 1S Specifications

The device weighs just 10 grams if you take out the weight of strap. It is compatible with mobiles running on Android 4.4+ or iOS 9.0+.
The smartband is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance. It has 1.42-inch OLED display to show data, notifications, calls etc (when connected). It is also equipped with Optical Heart rate monitor (PPG), Low power accelerometer and ECG sensor.
The Amazfit Health Band 1s features in 95 mAh battery which offers about 7 days of battery life. It uses Bluetooth V4.0 LE to connect with smart devices.
