Amazon acquires Smart Security Camera Maker BLINK

Amazon has acquired BLINK, a smart security camera and internet-connected doorbells maker.
BLINK officially confirmed the acquisition at its official website. The company was first introduced to the world via a successful Kickstarter campaign, where it managed to get 7000 enthusiastic backers and over $1 Million in pledges.
Smart Security camera market has been a buzz lately. The Acquisition will help Amazon compete with likes of Nest, which is a subsidiary of Alphabet.
For those who are worried about their recently bought BLINK product, company has stated that nothing has changed. The company will continue to operate under the Amazon umbrella. It will keep on selling and supporting its products.
