Amazon Echo Show announced for $229.99

Amazon has unveiled its latest smart speaker called Eco Show. It is powered by Alexa smart voice assistant. It is compatible with Fire OS, Android and iOS devices.
It has dimensions of 187 x 187 x 90 mm and weighs about 1170 grams. On the back side is power ports while the top has volume buttons, 8-microphone array and mics / camera button.
There is a 7-Inch touch screen at the front. Users can watch video flash briefings on YouTube, see music lyrics, security cameras, photos, weather forecasts, shopping lists etc.
The Amazon Eco Show is a next generation smart speaker that allows one to make hands-free video calls to friends and family. It shows lyrics on-screen with Amazon Music and can also stream over Wi-Fi, Pandora, Spotify, Tuneln, iHeartRadio etc.
It has eight microphones, beam-forming technology and noise cancellation, ensuring that Eco Show hear you from any direction (even when playing music).
This smart speaker with Alexa is powered by Dolby. It is fine tuned to deliver crystal clear vocals with dynamic bass response and expansive sound. This is further ensured by its Dual 2-inch Stereo speakers.
Inside Amazon Eco Show is an Intel Atom X5-Z8350 processor for advanced technology and processing capabilities. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) and Bluetooth A2DP connectivity.
The Amazon Echo Show is priced at $229.99 and comes in White and Black color options. It is already up for pre-order (Amazon.com) and will start shipping in US from June 28th, 2017.
