AMD announces Radeon RX 470 and RX 460 graphics cards, Specs out

AMD has announced Radeon RX 470 and Radeo RX 460, company’s latest lower-end graphics card. Both the budget graphics card are based on Polaris GPU and GCN4 architecture and are meant for budget VR Gaming.
The AMD Radeon RX 470 has 2048 stream processors with 128 texture units and 32 ROPs. It has core clock of 926MHz that boosts up to 2016MHz. It’s memory reaches 6.6Gbps GDDR5 with 256-bit Memory Bus Width. It has 4GB VRAM, 1/16 FP64 and 5.7B transistor count. It has typical board power of 120W and is manufactured using GloFo 14nm process. It is based on Polaris 10 GPU and GCN 4 architecture. The graphic card houses 3x DisplayPort 1.3 (1.4 ready) and 1 x HDMI 2.0 with FreeSync support.

The AMD Radeon RX 460 on the other hand has 896 stream processors with 56 texture units and 16 ROPs. It has core clock of 1090MHz that boosts up to 1200MHz. It’s memory reaches 7Gbps GDDR5 with 128-bit Memory Bus Width. It has 2GB / 4GB VRAM and 1/16 FP64. It has typical board power of <75W and is manufactured using GloFo 14nm process. It is based on Polaris 11 GPU and GCN 4 architecture. The 460 has 1x DisplayPort 1.3 (1.4 ready), 1x HDMI 2.0 and 1x DL-DVI-I, with FreeSync support.
While the pricing of these cards are not known, we do know that RX 470 will launch on August 4 and RX 460 on august 8.
