AMD Ryzen 5 Desktop processors launched globally

AMD has released its latest Ryzen 5 Series Desktop processors. The series currently has four models – 1600X, 1600, 1500X and 1400.
AMD Ryzen 5 processors are aimed at gamers and creators world wide, delivering immersive experience and high performance.They feature outstanding multi-tasking capabilities with with its efficient new “ZEN” core architecture and AMD SenseMI Technology.
The Ryzen 5 1600X has 6 cores with 12 threads. It has base clock of 3.6GHz, boost up to 4.0GHz, 4.1GHz XFR clock and 95 TDP. It will compete against the lights of Intel Core i5 7600K model.
The Ryzen 5 1600 model has 6 cores / 12 threads with base clock speed of 3.2GHz, boost up to 3.6GHz, XFR Clock of 3.7GHz and 65 TDP.
The Ryzen 5 1500X makes up of 4 cores with 8 threads. It has 3.5GHz base clock that boosts up to 3.7GHz, XFR Clock of 3.9GHz and 65 TDP.
It’s entry level Ryzen 5 Series 1400 has 4 cores / 8 threads, 32.GHz Base Clock, 3.4GHz Boost Clock, 3.45GHz XFR Clock and 65 TDP.
The 1600, 1500X and 1400 processors all come with Wraith Spire Cooler. The 1600X and 1600 models are designed for smooth gaming and broadcasting, almost delivering workstation-class performances. The latter two are designed for performance gaming.
