Apple HomePod smart speaker goes official

At WWDC, Apple has unveiled its much awaited smart speaker called HomePod. It is elegantly designed, compact, combines apple technology and advanced software to deliver highest-fidelity sound.
This Apple smart speaker has height of 172 mm (6.8″), width of 142 mm (5.6″) and weighs about 2.5 Kg. It is wrapped in seamless mesh fabric, designed specially for aesthetic and acoustic performance.
The Apple HomePod features in a powerful A8 Chip at its core that performs most complex audio innovations. It does real-time modelling of woofer mechanics, buffering which is even faster than real time, Upmixing of direct and ambient audio, advanced echo cancellations and Beamforming so that microphone hears your voice.
Apart from that, it has high-excursion woofer with custom amplifier that can play wide range of deep, rich bass. Additionally, it has a unique algorithm that continuously analyzes music and dynamically tunes the low frequencies for smooth distortion-free sound.
The HomePod smart speaker has seven beamforming tweeters that focuses the sound, from very narrow beams all the way to true, consistent 360-degree audio. It can automatically sense the room and tunes the music.
It has Internal low-frequency calibration microphone for automatic bass correction. The device also supports Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO.
One can have a second HomePod in the same room as well. They automatically detect and balance each other. AirPlay 2 allows one to use this Smart Speaker in multiple rooms, allowing one to play throughout the house.
Additionally, the HomePod comes with Siri. It has innovative signal processing that allows Siri to hear you from a distance. It can not only change music but find music as well. Apple music support and Siri further enhances its music ecosystem.
There are multiple layers of security – including anonymous ID and encryption that protects your privacy. The speaker can also answer house hold questions and control smart home accessories just with your voice.
The Apple HomePod will be priced at $349 and will be available in December in US, UK and Australia. It comes in Space Gray and White color options.
