Apple has unveiled its fastest iMac till date and they calling it Apple iMac Pro. It was announced at WWDC 2017.
It has height of 20.3-inches, width of 25.6-inches, stand depth of 8-inches and weighs about 21.5 pounds (9.7Kg). It has been tested at up to 16,400 feet, works in 10 to 35-degree temperatures and 5% to 95% non-condensing relative humidity.
The Apple iMac Pro specs include 27-inch Retina 5K display with resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels. It has support for billions of colors and delivers 500nits brightness.
It has 8-Core / 10-Core / 18-Core Xeon processor options coupled with 32GB of 2666MHz DDR4 ECC memory. It is further configurable to feature 64GB or 128GB RAM.
It also comes with Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics processor with 8GB of HBM2 memory. It is further configurable to include Radeon Pro Vega 64 GPU with 16GB HBM2 memory.
Apart from that, it has Nbase-T Ethernet port (1GB / 2.5GB / 5GB / 10GB) using RJ-45 connector, four Thunderbot 3 (USB-C) ports, Four USB 3.0 Ports and SDXC Card slot that supports UHS-II. Wi-Fi 802.1ac, IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth V4.2 is also supported.
The iMac Pro price starts at US$ 4,999 (Rs. 3,21,640), comes in space gray color options and will start shipping in December.
