Apple officially unveiled its latest 10th Generation iPad. It comes in both Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular options.
Apple has also unveiled its all-new Magic Keyboard Folio that has a two-piece design and a click-anywhere trackpad. The keyboard boasts full size keys with 1mm travel and 14-key function key row for easy access to shortcuts.
Apple iPad (10th Gen) specs and features
The tablet measures 248.6 x 179.5 x 7.0 mm and weighs 477 grams for Wi-Fi model and 481 grams for Wi-Fi + Cellular variant. It comes with flatter sides and packs in a touch-ID fingerprint scanner on the side.
The new 10th Gen Apple iPad feature a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina True Tone display that offers 2360 x 1640 pixels resolution at 264ppi pixel density and delivers 500nits brightness.
Powering inside is a hexa-core Apple A14 Bionic Chip (64-bit) which is paired with quad-core GPU and 16-core Neural engine. It has 64GB and 256GB storage options.
The new Apple iPad 10th Gen runs on iPadOS 16 out of the box. It has 12MP front camera with 122-degree FOV, F/2.4 Aperture and Retina Flash. It has features like FaceTime video and Center stage.
At the back side is a single 12MP camera with F/1.8 Aperture, 5P lens and Auto focus (with Focus Pixels). There are dual microphones for noise cancellation during calls and landscape stereo speaker setup.
The iPad 10th Generation houses a 28.6Wh Lithium-Polymer battery that offers up to 10hours of web surfing / video using Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi + Cellular model delivers up to 9 hours of same usage.
For connectivity, it has optional 5G, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), HT80 with MIMO, Bluetooth V5.2 and USB-C.
