Apple Mac Mini with Apple M1 chip unveiled, faster and cheaper

Apple along with its new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13″ has announced its new Apple MacBook Mini. It is powered by Apple M1 Chipset.

The Apple M1 chipset houses 8-core CPU which includes 4-performance cores and 4-efficiency cores, 8-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. It has 8GB RAM which is configurable up to 16GB.

The Apple Mac Mini comes with 256GB and 512GB variants. These are again configurable up to 512GB / 1TB / 2TB. The device supports one display with up to 6K resolution (at 60Hz) via Tunderbolt and one display with up to 4K resolution (at 60Hz) connected via HDMI 2.0.

The Apple Mac Mini comes with built-in speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack and HDMI 2.0 with support for multi-channel audio output. It has Display Port, Thunderbolt 3 (up to 40Gbps), USB 3.1 Gen2 (up to 10Gbps), Thunderbolt 2, HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Mac Mini measures 3.6 x 19.7 x 19.7 cm (H x W x D) and weighs about 1.2 kg. It has Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax and Bluetooth V5.0 support. It is powered by MacOS Big Sur.

The new Mac Mini with M1 chip is priced at Rs. 64,900 for 26GB model and Rs. 84,900 for 512GB variant. It is already available online at Apple store and will also land at Apple Authorized Resellers (online and offline) soon.
