ASUS has finally unveiled its latest ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro gaming smartphones. It was introduced for both India and Global markets.

The phone has measurements of 173 x 77 x 10.3 mm and weighs 239 grams. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
As this is a gaming smartphone, it has AirTrigger 6 control system which lets you map up to 14 touch points. It has two ultrasonic buttons (press and lift) with 9 input methods.
The ROG Phone 6 comes with ROG RGB light logo. The ROG Phone 6 Pro has ROG Vision color PMOLED display at the back. Both of these come with IPX4 splash resistant rating for added durability.
These come with 6.7-inch OLED HDR 10-bit display offering 2448 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20.4:9 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate. The screen delivers 111.23% DCI-P3 colors / 150.89% sRGB gamut, <1% Delta E average, 1000000:1 contrast ratio, 5nits to 800nits (APL100 + HBM) / 1200nits (APL1) brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 feature a 3.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 Mobile Platform with Adreno Next-Gen GPU. These smartphones come with all-new 360-degree CPU cooling technology, boasting 30% larger vapor chamber, 85% larger graphite sheet and Centered CPU design.
The ROG Phone 6 is offered with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The ROG Phone 6 Pro has 16GB/18GB LPDDR5 RAM options with 512GB UFS 3.1 storage space.
The ROG Phone 6 Series run on Android 12 with ROG UI & Zen UI on top. These house 6000mAh (typical) / 5800mAh (minimum) battery and supports 65W fast charging (supports Quick Charge 5.0 and PD 3.0 charging).
They come with dual Nano SIM Slots and support 5G SA/NSA and Dual 4G VoLTE. All the models have Qualcomm WCD9385 chip for Hi-Res audio output. These have dual front facing speakers (symmetrical), 5-magnet stereo speakers with Cirrus Logic amplifier and Dirac HD sound.
The ROG Phone 6 come with a 12MP front camera with Sony IMX663 Sensor. At the back side includes 50MP (main, 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX766 sensor, F/1.9 Aperture, 1.0um pixels) + 13MP (125-degree ultra-wide, F/2.4 Aperture) + 5MP (macro, F/2.0 Aperture) cameras at back with LED Flash. The rear cameras support 8K video at 30fps, 4K at 60fps and slow-motion 4K at 120fps.
For connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, dual-band GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS/NavIC, NFC and USB Type-C. A 3.5mm audio jack is present as well.

The ASUS ROG Phone 6 has Phantom Black and Storm White colors while the 6 Pro has single Storm White colors. Both of these will start rolling out soon however, exact dates were not revealed.
