Asus has announced its latest palm-sized projector called the ZenBeam E1. It has dimensions of 110 x 29 x 83 mm (W x H x D) and weighs about 307 grams.
It delivers up to 120-inch diagonal projections at 854 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution. It uses 0.2″ DLP display technology, R/G/B LED light source with maximum life of 30000 hours, max light output of 150 lumens, Contrast ratio of 3500:1 and 100% NTSC color saturation.
The projection lens can project up to distance of 0.5 ~ 3.7 meters on screen sizes ranging from 16 ~ 120 inches at 100% offset. The projector works on virtually any surfaces like front / back table, ceiling etc.
The Asus ZenBeam E1 projector features a 5V 6000mAh battery that offers 5 hours of usage @ 50 lumens. Battery double’s as power bank as well. It also includes HDMI, MHL, Earphone out and 1 Type-A USB port. It also has built-in speaker and uses ASUS SonicMaster technology.
The Asus ZenBeam E1 is priced at US$ 249 and will up for purchase soon. It comes in Silver colour.
