Asus has officially announced ZenFone 5 Lite (ZC600KL) smartphone at MWC 2018 along with ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with ZenUI 4.0 on top (Upgradable to Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0).
The phone packs in 6-inch IPS display with 2.5D-Contoured Glass panels at the front and back. It offers 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, 80.3% screen-to-body ratio and 1.79mm slim bezels.
The handset comes in two chipset options – octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB/4GB LPDDR3 RAM Options.
The second variant houses octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
The handset measures 160.62 x 76.16 x 7.8 mm and weighs 168.3 grams. It has fingerprint sensor at the back and just above it are dual rear cameras.
The ZenFone 5 Lite features in 16MP primary rear camera with LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture, 3-Axis EIS and PDAF (0.03 seconds). There is a secondary 120-degre wide angle rear camera with 6P lens, 12.5mm equivalent focal length.
Connectivity options include WI-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (b/g/n in SD430), Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) (in SD630), Bluetooth V4.1, NFC, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The ASUS Zenfone 5 Lite ZC600KL comes in Midnight Black, Rough Red and Moonlight White colors. The handset will roll out in March 2018.
