ASUS Zenfone 5Z (ZS621KL) with Snapdragon 845 SoC launches in India

ASUS has officially introduced Zenfone 5Z (ZS621KL) flagship phone in India. It was first announced at MWC 2018 back in February 2018. The phone boasts 90% screen-to-body ratio.
The phone features in a 6.2-inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 2246 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 500nits brightness, 95.4% NTSC Color gamut and 1500:1 contrast ratio. Additionally, the display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and delivers DCI-P3 colors. There is 2.5D glass at the back while its body is made of aluminum.
The ASUS Zenfone 5Z specs include octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options with 64GB / 128GB storage space. The ROM is further expandable up to 2TB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone packs in Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots of which one doubles for MicroSD card. It supports dual 4G VoLTE as well. The mobile is powered by Android 8.0 Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top. The OS is upgradable to Android P in future.
The Zenfone 5Z has dimensions of 13 x 75.65 x 7.85 mm and weighs 155 grams. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor, dual 5-magnet speakers with dual NXP9874 Smart AMP, Hi-Res Audio, DTS Headphone: X for 7.1 channel surround sound and dual Microphones. It has 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. It can go from 0% to 60% in 38 minutes. There is AI charging as well.
The cell phone houses 12MP primary rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.41.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture and supports 0.03s Tri Tech auto-focus/Dual Pixel PDAF/ 4-axis OIS/EIS, Pro mode with RAW support. There is a secondary rear camera with F/2.0 APerture, OV8856 sensor and 120-degree wide angle lens. For selfies, the smartphone packs in 8MP shooter OV8856 sensor, 83-degree wide angle lens and F/2.0 Aperture.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) 2×2 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C (2.0), FM Radio, NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The ASUS Zenfone 5Z price in India starts at Rs. 29,999 for 6GB/64GB model, Rs. 32,999 for 8GB/128GB model and Rs. 36,999 for premium 8GB/256GB storage model. The cell comes in Meteor Silver and Midnight Blue colors. The mobile will be available online exclusively at Flipkart.
