Asus Zenfone AR (ZS571KL) with Tango, DayDream VR support launched in India

As expected, Asus has officially launched Zenfone AR (ZS571KL) in India. It supports Google’s project Tango AR and is compatible with Daydream VR platform as well.
The handset measures 158.67 x 77.7 x 4.6 ~ 8.95 mm and weighs about 170 grams. It has fingerprint sensor and comes with Mono 5 magnet speakers. It also supports ASUS SonicMaster 3.0, DTS headphones and NXP Smart AMP technology.
The Asus Zenfone AR specs include 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It has over 100% NTSC gamut and sports Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection as well.
Under the hood is 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. Unlike most smartphone, this one comes with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB UFS 2.0 storage. It is further expandable up to 2TB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone is powered by 3300 mAh battery. It also supports Qualcomm Quick 3.0 as well for rapid charging. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano / microSD) and supports 4G VoLTE in India. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, 2×2 MIMO, USB Type-C, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS etc.

It makes up of Sony IMX318 sensor, 6P Largan Lens, F/2.0 Aperture and also supports 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS and laser auto focus. On the front side is an 8MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
The Asus Zenfone AR price is set at Rs. 49,999 and comes in Black color (with leather back). It is available online at Flipkart. Early birds can get Rs. 2500 discount on Google Daydream View VR Headset and up to 100GB 4G data on Reliance Jio.
