ASUS Zenfone 5 (ZE620KL) and ZoneFone 5Z (Z5620KL) with 19:9 FHD+ bezel-less display officially announced

ASUS has announced two of its latest smartphone at MWC called ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) and ZenFone 5Z (Z5620K). It has an AI display with auto color temperature adjustment and smart screen on.
These handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top. The OS is also upgradable to Android P in future. These devices packs in Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano / MicroSD) and sup9orts Dual VoLTE.
The ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5Z both measures 153 x 75.65 x 7.85 mm and weighs 155 grams.They have a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Moreover, these cell phones features in Dual Speakers with NXP9874 Smart AMP, HI-Res Audio (192kHz/24b-bit), Dual Microphones and DTS Headphone: X for 7.1 channel surround sound.
Interestingly, the Asus ZenFone 5 ZE620KL and Asus Zenfone 5Z Z5620KL features in a large 6.2-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display which  2246 x 1080 pixels Full HD resolution at 19:9 aspect ratio. Their screen delivers DCI-P3 colors, 500 nits Brightness, 95.4% NTSC color gamut and 1500:1 contrast ratio. Their screen have Corning Gorilla Glass protection and supports Glove touch as well.
Internal hardware in ZenFone 5 makes up of 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes in 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options with 64GB / 128GB internal storage space. It also allows further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD Card.
The ZenFone 5Z features in octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB ROM, 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB internal memory. All the variants allow further epansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card
The Asus Zenfone 5 and 5Z specs include dual rear cameras with Dual-Tone LED Flash. They have 12MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.41.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture and supports 0.03s Tri Tech auto-focus/Dual Pixel PDAF/ 4-axis OIS/EIS, Pro mode with RAW support. The secondary rear camera consists of OV8856 Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and 120-degree wide angle lens.
At the front is an 8MP snapper with OC8856 Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and 83-degree wide-angle lens. Their hardware is powered by 3300 mAH battery with ASUS BoostMaster fast charging and AI Charging.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C (2.0), FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The ASUS ZenFone 5 / Zenfone 5Z (Price starts at €479) comes in Meteor Silver and Midnight Blue colors and will start rolling out in April 2018 and June 2018 respectively.
