IFA event has been known to bring new gadgets into the market. Taking this opportunity at ongoing IFA 2016 event, ASUS has unveiled its latest Android Wear smartwatch called the ZenWatch 3 (WI503Q).
The watch measures 45 x 45 x 9.95 ~ 10.75 mm and is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. It is crafted from 316L jewelry-grade stainless steel and comes with interchangeable leather straps.
It has 3-button system that allows access to frequently used functions. It allows users to change display modes, open ZenFit activity tracking application etc.
The Asus ZenWatch 3 (WI503Q) specs include 1.39-Inch AMOLED roud display with 400 x 400 pixels resolution at 287ppi pixel density. Under the hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor with 512MB RAM.
The smartwatch allows 4GB eMMC storage and runs on Android Wear 2.0 OS. It is compatible with most smartphones running on Android 4.3 + and iOS. It has 340 mAh battery and supports Hyper Charge technology. It charges battery by up to 60% in just 15 minutes. It also comes with optional watch stand and battery pack that offers 40% more battery life.
This Asus Smartwatch is equipped with 6-axis Gyro / Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor. It also comes pre-loaded with 50 watch faces.
The Asus ZenWatch 3 (WI503Q) is priced at €229 (US$ 254) in Europe and will launch later this year in October. Specific dates where not revealed. It comes in Silver, Gunmetal and Rose Gold Colors.
