A new BlackBerry smartphone has landed at GeekBench benchmarks. It is listed bearing the name “QUALCOMM BBF100-1”.
What got us excited is the fact that this could be BlackBerry KEYone successor. If you refer the model numbers, the KEYone carried the model number BBB100-X while the BlackBerry Motion sports a model number of BBD-100-X. The X denotes a region.
The BBF100-1 seems to be next in line. The smartphone is speculated to be the same handset codenamed BlackBerry Mercury.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform coupled with Adreno 512 GPU for graphics. Interestingly, it has 6GB of RAM of which about 5698MB should be user available.
At the ending note, we just might see a BlackBerry and TCL come together to bring “BlackBerry KEYtwo“.
