Black Shark has officially announced its latest Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro gaming smartphones in China. These pack in some premium specifications and features.
Starting off with their display, both handset sport 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. The screen delivers 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz of multi-finger touch sampling rate. The display also boasts as low as 8.3ms of multi-finger touch response delay.
The BlackShark 4 / BlackShark 4 Pro comes with next-gen fully symmetrical dual-zone screen pressure sensitivity. These have all new magnetic power-lifting shoulder buttons (tested up to 1M times) for enhanced gaming experience.
Both handset have Dual Nano SIM slots with 5G support. They are powered by Android 11 with JOYUI 12.5. Both have thickness of 9.9 mm and sports X-shaped texture at the rear. Their Black Shark brand log is hidden inside an AG Glass panel. At their front side is a punch hole for a 20MP selfie camera.
The Black Shark 4 feature an octa-core Snapdragon 870 SoC with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM options and 12GB/256GB storage variants. It has 48MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 5MP (super-macro) lenses at the back with LED Flash. It has symmetrical dual speakers for audio.
The Black Shark 4 Pro specs include octa-core Snapdragon 888 chipset with 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM variants and 12GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. The Pro model sports customized SSD storage space which is a combo of two disk array system, delivering an increased read / write performance by 55% / 69% respectively. The Pro models also houses 1226 linear speakers and 7-magnetic sounding units with 1.5cc super-large sound cavity.
All the BlackShark4 models come with unique “Sandwich” cooling system. It consists of Liquid cooling tunes and Liquid cooling plates. For enhanced network performance. Black Shark has included an intelligent X antenna switching system. It has Wi-Fi6, multi-core CPU data packet acceleration, dual-card dual Wi-Fi multi-network intelligent switching and Tencent mobile game accelerator.
The Black Shark 4 / Black Shark 4Pro models have 4500mAh battery capacity and supports 120W fast charging. These come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and includes NFC.
