Black Shark has officially introduced two new flagship grade smartphones in China called Black Shark 4S and Black Shark 4S Pro. Both of these are similar with noticeable difference in chipset, RAM / Storage options and primary rear camera setup.
Company has also introduces Black Shark 4S Gundam Limited Edition which has Red and Blue sades of Gundam engraved. It includes customized Gundam theme with unique boot animations, User interface and Wallpapers.
Black Shark 4S / 4S Pro specifications and features
Both of these mobile phones have dimensions of 163.69 x 76.21 x 9.9 mm. The 4S model weighs about 210 grams while the 4S Pro version is slightly heavier at 220 grams. These come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual Nano slots and Android 11 OS (with JoyUI 12.8).
They pack in 6.67-inch multi-touch E4 AMOLED display with HDR10+ and MEMC intelligent motion compensation technology. The screen offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, 720Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate, 8.3ms multi-finger touch response time, 111% DCi-P3 color gamut and up to 1300nits brightness.
Black Shark has included next-generation dual zone screen pressure sensing 5.0 which are fully symmetrical and offers 7 levels of adjustment. Additionally, these mobiles have all new magnetic power-lifting shoulder buttons with trigger force as low as 160 grams.
The Black Shark 4S feature in octa-core Snapdragon 870 mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. It has 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5 RAM options with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage space. There is a top-end model with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage as well.
The Black Shark 4S Pro specs include an octa-core Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. It has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and 16GB LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.1 storage space. To further enhance performance, the cell phone includes UFS 3.1 + SSD Disk Array 2.0 tech.
These mobiles come with “SANDWICH” liquid cooling system consisting of a large liquid cooling plate, liquid cooling tube and copper alloy substrate. It offers a large heat dissipation area for 36-degree 3D heat dissipation. Company has included 11-temperature sensors to keep tabs of thermals throughout device.
Both mobile phones pack in 20MP front camera with F/2.45 Aperture. At the back side BlackShark 4S has 48MP main while the BlackShark 4S Pro houses 64MP primary rear camera. The main shooter is paired with 8MP (120-degree ultra-wide, F/2.4) and 5MP (supermacro, F/2.4) lenses and LED flash.
These cellphones come with 4500mAh dual-cell battery and supports 120W fast charging. They support QC and PD Fast charging protocols as well. With 120W fast charging, these devices can charge up to 50% in just 5 minutes and 100% in about 15 minutes.
Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA) / Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), 2X2 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Bediou/Galileo, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack.
