BlackBerry Athena (BBF100-4) specs out by TENAA

The BlackBerry Athena (BBF100-4) has finally made its way at TENAA for certification. The images revealed by certification authority reveals that it has physical QWERTY keyboard.
The phone measures 151.4 x 71.8 x 8.5mm and weighs 168 grams.  It is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo OS and comes with fingerprint sensor (on space bar key). The features of QWERTY keyboard like touch gestures and shortcut customization should be similar to BlackBerry KeyOne.
The BlackBerry Athena (BBF100-4) packs in 4.5-inch multi-touch display with 1620 x 1080 pixels resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. There should be a scratch resistance glass as well.
According to TENAA, the mobile is powered by octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 260 x 4 + 1.8GHz Kryo 260 x 4) Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU (we are fairly sure its SD660 SoC).
This QWERTY Android Phone comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. It also allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
An 8MP camera sits at the front while at the back there is a dual camera setup (12MP + 8MP) (secondary rear snapper is subject to confirmation) with LED Flash.
The hardware gets power for 3360 mAh battery and should support Quick Charge fast charging. It has gravity sensor, distance and light sensors. Connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2 and GPS should be supported.
The BlackBerry Athena (BBF100-4) comes in Silver and Black colors. There no exact release dates but we are expecting the handset to be announced in Q2 2018.
