BlackBerry has finally launched it its latest Android Phone called DTEK60. The phone is based on existing Alcatel (aka TCL) design but has slight improvements in terms of Specifications.
The phone sports metal-framed body and comes with dual-glass finish, on the front and back side. Leveraging on company’s state-of-the-art software and security solutions, the phone’s Android OS is said to be more responsive, productive and secure. It has FIPS 140-2 encryption that protects the stored data. It also offers DTEK app to monitor and fix privacy violations.
The BlackBerry DTEK60 Specs include 5.5-inch display (scratch and smudge resistant) with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, 534ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch. It has quad-core (2.15GHz x 2 + 1.6GHz x 2) 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 processor with Adreno 530 GPU (624Mhz).
The smartphone houses 4GB RAM, 32GB on-board storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card. It has 3000 mAh battery that gives about 24 hours of mixed usage. Quick Charge is also supported.
The BlackBerry DTEK60 features 21MP primary camera on the back with F/2.0 Aperture, 6-element lens, PDAF and allows 4K video recording as well. On the front side is 8MP secondary camera with F/2.2 Aperture, 1.125µm pixel size and comes with 84-degree wide angle lens for quality selfies.
Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC etc. It comes with LED indicators which is user configurable.
