Blackberry seems to be more inclined on unveiling new colors for its BlackBerry KEY2 smartphone. The handset initially came in Black and Silver colors and now, company has introduced BlackBerry KEY2 Red Edition smartphone at MWC 2019.
In terms of Specifications, the KEY2 Red Edition is similar to the original model. It has 4.5-inch multi-touch display with 1620 x 1080 pixels resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, 433ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The mobile has dimensions of 151.4 x 71.8 x 8.5 mm and has weight of 168 grams. It has fingerprint sensor on space bar and comes with a speed key. Aesthetically, it has deep red series 7 Aluminum frame with black accents and textured back.
The BlackBerry KEY2 features in 4-row Physica QWERTY backlit keyboard with capacitive touch. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and is powered by 3360 mAh Quick Charge 3.0 battery.
The It has Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE, It has 8MP selfie camera and 12MP (F/1.8 , 1.14um, 79.3-degree wide angle, dual PDAF) + 12MP (F/2.6, 50-degree lens) dual rear cameras with LED flash.
Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio jack are present.
The BlackBerry KEY2 Red Edition price is $749 (Rs. 53,240 approx.)/€779/£699 and will be available in select markets of North America, Europe and Middle East. Pre-orders have already commenced.
