BlackBerry has officially introduced its latest Android smartphone called BlackBerry Motion. The handset is built by China’s TCL.
The phone is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance. It can survive at 3.3 feet fresh water depths by up to 30 minutes.The handset comes pre-installed with Android 7.1 Nougat OS but will be upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo in 2018.
It has fingerprint sensor on home button for added security. Additionally, there is an additionally a Locker that securely allows one to pin-protect photos or documents. It has Convenience Key that offers four customable profiles (Home, Office, Car, User).
The handset measures 155.7 x 75.4 x 8.13 mm and houses Dual SIM slots. The Cell phone is equipped with 8MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture and 1.12µm pixel size. On the back side is 12MP primary camera with Sony IMX378 sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 1.55µm pixel size, 4K video recording and dual-tone LED Flash.
Usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC etc will be supported as well.
