BLU Pure XR with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Helio P10, 3000mAh battery launched

BLU has officially launched the its latest smartphone called the Pure XR. It is a mid-rage device that packs in 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. The screen has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 401ppi pixel density and has curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The BLU Pure XR specs include 2GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor with Mali-T860 GPU. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It has advanced uni-body design that offers “Invisible Antenna” with Zero Gap.
The phone has 4GB RAM, 64GB storage ROM and is expandable up to 64GB using MicroSD card. It  has 8MP selfie camera on the front and is equipped with wide-angle-lens. On the back is 16MP main snapper with 1.12micron pixel size, 1/3-inch sensor, F/1.8 aperture, 6P lens, Laser Auto Focus, PDAF, PDAF and supports 1080p video recording as well.

The phone measures 154.3 x 74.9 x 7 mm and weighs about 147 grams. It has 3000 mAh Li-Polymer non removable battery that offers up to 6 hours of HD video playback. has 9V/2A quick charger, that offers about 5 hours of talk time with just 10 minutes charge. The battery can be charged to 20% in 10 minutes of 50% in 30 minutes.

It also houses 3D touch sensitive fingerprint scanner. It unlocks the phone in less than 10 ms. Connectivity options include 4G LTE with Cat6 speeds up to 300 mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, USB Type-C, NextRadio, GPS etc. DTS Sound for is also supported.

The BLU Pure XR is priced at US$ 299 and comes in Gold and Grey color options. It is already available online at Amazon.com
