BLU products known for its mid-range phones is all set to announce its next Android Smartphone called the BLU Pure XR.
To gain momentum, company has starting teasing the handset. On their official Facebook page, BLU has revealed a teaser image of the smartphone. Moreover, company has also confirmed that the phone will launch on August 29, 2016 and will carry MSRP of US$ 299.
Not much is revealed about the handset, at least in terms of specifications. The teaser does mention that this upcoming smartphone will have 4GB RAM inside and a physical home button. There are chatters that a fingerprint sensor could be embedded under the button.
Aesthetically, the BLU Pure XR highly resembles to Gionee S8. Company has been known to rebrand Gionee phones in the past, so this move wouldn’t come as a surprise.
According to the rumors, the phone is expected to have 5.5-Inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, MediaTel Helio P10 SoC, 64GB storage space and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It could have 16MP main camera with F/1.8 aperture, LED Flash, Auto focus coupled with 8MP front snapper. A 3000mAh battery is also expected inside.
