BLU has launched its latest smartphone in US called R1 Plus. It measures 153 x 76.6 x 10.5 mm and weighs about 190 grams. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The BLU R1 Plus specs include 5.5-Inch on-cell display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection and supports multi-touch.
Internal hardware consists of 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 processor with ARM Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. It has 2GB / 3GB RAM options with 16GB / 32GB internal storage memory. It allows further expansion up to 64GB using MicroSD card.
The phone packs in Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE plus. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The R1 Plus also features in 5MP front camera with LED Flash. There is a 13MP main Auto Focus camera at the back with LED Flash as well.
The battery inside is of 4000 mAh capacity. It offers 2 to 3 days of mixed usage and about 30 days of standby. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack.
The BLU R1 Plus price starts at $140 for 2GB RAM model and $160 for 3GB RAM variant. The handset is already available online at Amazon.com and Bestbuy.
