BLU R2 Plus launched in USA for $179.99

BLU Mobiles, known for its budget unlock phones has launched its latest smartphone in USA called BLU R2 Plus. It is successor to last year’s BLU R2 smartphone.
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and supports 4G LTE. The device is also compatible with most GSM carriers in US like AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS, Straight Talk etc.
The mobile measures 155.3 x 77 x 9.2 mm and weighs 167 grams. It is equipped with fingerprint sensor at the back for quick unlocking and security.
BLU R2 Plus image -3The BLU R2 Plus specs include 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 400ppi pixel density and multi-touch capabilities.
Under the hood is 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB using MicroSD card.
The R2 Plus features in 13MP front camera and comes with selfie flash. At the back side is another 13MP camera with LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording support.
The phone’s hardware is fueled by 3000 mAh battery, which is capable of offering up to 30 days of standby time. Most of connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack are supported.
