BLU, a company known for its budget smartphones has announced three new smartphones under its new ‘V Series“. The line up includes BLU V5, BLU V7 and BLU V9 mobile phones.
The BLU V5 (2019) price is $49.99 and comes in Twilight color. The BLU V7 price is $79.99 and comes in Black color (with Blue tint). The BLU V9 costs $129.99 and is available in Black color. There are already available in US at Best Buy.
BLU V5
The handset comes with DUal SIM slots and supports 4G LTE. It is compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, Kita, Cricket Wireless, Tracfone, Net10, H2O and Simple Mobile.
The BLU V5 runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS. It has a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution at 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with 1.6GHz octa-core Processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space, which is further expandable using MicroSD card.
This budget phone houses 8MP selfie camera at the front and 13MP auto focus shooter at the back with LED flash. There is a 3000 mAh battery.
The BLU V5 Unlocked supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth and GPS. It has dimensions of 5.93 x 2.85 x 0.42 inch and weighs 5.71 ounces.
BLU V7
This particular handset measures 6.06 x 2.89 x 0.35 inch and has weight of 5.54 ounces. It does have Dual SIM slots and is compatible with most GSM carriers (mentioned above).
The BLU V7 specs include a slightly larger 5.7-inch multi-touch display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution at 18:9 aspect ratio. It has 1.6GHz octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, which is again expandable using MicroSD card.
Compared to BLU V5, the V7 houses 13MP front camera. At the back side is 13MP AF shooter with LED Flash. There is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking as well. There is a smaller 2800 mAh battery. Connectivity options are same as above.
BLU V9
This is an Android 9.0 Pie powered mobile with Dual SIM slots and has support for 4G LTE for most GSM carriers in US.
It measures 6.29 x 3.01 x 0.33 inch and has weight 5.86 mm. The BLU V9 features in a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Of the lot, the V9 flaunts a largest 6.3-inch display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. The mobile houses a larger 4000mAh battery capacity.
It has 1.6GHz octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 64GB using MicroSD card. It has same 13MP front and 13MP rear shooters with LED Flash.
