BLU Vivo 5R with 4G LTE, metal body, 5.5-inch screen launched

BLU Mobile, a US based company has introduced its latest smartphone under mid-range category called BLU Vivo 5R. It is a refresh version of Vivo 5 that launched earlier this year.
The phone measures 154 x 75.6 x 8.15mm and sports metal-body. It has one touch fingerprint sensor on the back that integrates with encrypted file management system. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and supports 4G LTE (Bands 2/4/7/12/17) at Cat4 speeds.
The BLU Vivo 5R specs include 5.5-Inch Curved display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 401ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch as well. It has 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor (64-bit) with Mali-T720 GPU inside.

It has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage ROM, further expandable up to 64GB using MicroSD Card.

To woo selfie lovers, It has 8MP front facing snapper with dedicated front flash. On the back side sits a 13MP camera unit with Sony IMX258 Sensor and F/2.0 Aperture. It supports PDAF, 1080p video recording at 30 Fps and houses LED Flash as well.

The battery inside is 3150 mAh capacity and supports 5V/2A quick charging. The mobile has Dual SIM Slots and is compatible with T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS etc. This smartphone also comes bundled with DTS surround sound for optimum multimedia experience.

The BLU Vivo 5R is priced at US$ 199.99 and comes in Grey and Gold color options. It is already available online at Amazon.com.
