Known consumer tech brand boAt has entered into wearable category with the launch of its first ProGear B20 smartband.
The boAt ProGear B20 is made to last and tested to handle extreme environments. It comes with water resistant IP68 rating for protection against dust, sand, water and sweat. It has rigid build with grip comofrt which delivers comfort all day long.
The smartband is just 22 grams in weight. It has 0.96-inch TFT-LCD touch screen display and comes with a touch key for accessibility. The ProGear B20 band also includes 5 built-in dynamic dial faces.
It also comes with 24-hour heart rate monitor which can be set to automatic or manual analog. There is a built-in sleep monitor which can track three modes – deep sleep, light sleep and awake hours. For stress relief, it gives out guided meditative breathing exercises.
The boAt ProGear B20 features in 14 different workout modes and shows various statistics like daily steps, calories burnt and activity duration. It uses Bluetooth V4.0 to connect with smartphones and compatible with most devices available today.
Once connected, it delivers real-time notifications on incoming calls, messages or control music. it has smart camera shutter control feature for clicking pictures from smartband itself.
There is a 90mAh battery inside which gives about 10days of standby. You can simply plug it inside any USB port to charge. There is a Do Not Disturb function as well.
