boAt Lifestyle has announced its first smartwatch in India called boAt Storm. It is an affordable smartwatch for fitness enthusiasts which features in 1.3-inch 2.5D curved glass large and vibrant color display with 240 x 240 pixels resolution.
The screen is readable in sunlight and comes with downloadable cloud-based watch faces which can be customized (100+ options) to suit your needs. This will be available as an OTA after the launch and is customizable using boAt ProGear App.
The boAt Storm features in a solid ergonomically designed metal body and uses Powder Metallurgy Technique to achieve solid look and feel.. It has in-built SPO2 (real-time blood oxygen level) monitoring and 24/7 Heart Rate Monitor that can track minute by minute track of your immediate health.
Additionally, the smartwatch also includes guided meditative breathing mode to manage stress levels. Women can also predict Menstrual and Ovulation Cycles using its built-in Menstruation Cycle tracker.
The boAt Storm features in nine Active Sports Modes which include Walking, Cycling, Hiking, Climbing, Fitness, Treadmill, Yoga and Dynamic Cycling. Out of the nine, you can select eight of them at one go.
The smartwatch can also be used to control music, volume, tracks and calls. It has find-my-phone feature to locate mobile with single click. The wearable can also receive all your important notifications, calls, texts, social media updates, sedentary alerts etc. One can also set alarm.
The boAt Storm delivers up to 10 days of battery life and up to 30 days of standby time. The smartwatch is also 5ATM rated for water resistance up to 50 meters.
The boAt Storm price is Rs. 1999 and will be available online exclusively at Flipkart and boAt’s website from October 29th, 2020 (12PM). It comes in Active Black and Black & Blue colors.
