Canon launches EOS M100 24.2MP mirror-less camera

Canon expands its M Series camera lineup with the launch of EOS M100. It is company’s latest mirrorless camera with interchangeable lens.
The camera measures 108.2 x 67.1 x 35.1 mm and weighs about 302 grams. It has 3-inch tilt-up (up to 180-degree) LCD touch screen and supports connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE and NFC.
The Canon EOS M100 features in 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 imaging processor. It has Dual Pixel CMOS AF Focal plane with max continuous shooting speed of 6.1fps and max ISO speed ranging from 100 – 25600. The camera is capable of capturing 1080p videos at 60fps.
Additionally, this mirrorless camera includes self-portrait mode with smooth skin feature. It has a special Creative Assist feature that further simplifies the camera settings. It can also save up to six pre-defined Creative Assist settings that are frequently uses. It can also help share / receive information with other cameras.
Cannon EOS M100 image 1The Cannon EOS M100 is priced at Rs. 39,995 (US$ 620 approx.) and comes in Black color. Interestingly, the camera is already available in USA (at Amazon.com) for US$ 499.
