Cat S31, S41 rugged smartphones and Caterpillar T20 rugged tablet announced

Cat Phones took IFA 2017 as a platform where it introduced three new devices. They include Cat S31 and S41 rugged smartphones and Caterpillar T20 rugged Tablet.
Cat Phones lineup usually consists of rugged devices and all these new entrants fall in the same category. The Cat S31 is successor to S30. It has IP68 rating making it water proof and dust proof. It also complies with MIL SPEC 810G and can easily handle drops from up to 1.8 meters.
The Cat S41 on the other hand is successor to Cat S40. It has an upgraded 5000 mAh battery that is claimed to last up to 38 hours of 3G talking. It can also charge other devices and comes with Battery Share functionality (converts into powerbank).  Usual ruggedness goes without saying. It has easy to use In-app slider control as well.
The Cat Caterpillar T20 is company’s first rugged tablet. It is specially aimed at users that work in situations that require extreme durability. This rugged tablet has IP67 certification and can sustain at 1 meter depths for 30 minutes. The device is also drop resistant and can survive drops from up to 1.8 meters. It runs on Windows 10 OS and offers LTE connectivity.

The Cat S41 price is set at €449 (MSRP) and will up for order from August 31st. The Cat S31 will cost €329 (MSRP) and will be available later this year. The Caterpillar T20 Tablet has an MSRP of €649.
