Coolpad has officially introduced a new COOL series smartphone in China called Coolpad Cool 12A. It is a dual SIM smartphone with 4G VoLTE and comes with Face Recognition and side mounted fingerprint sensor.
The phone has measurements of 156.2 x 75.2 x 8.9 mm and weighs about 202.5 grams. It has 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with 1560 x 720 pixels resolution at 19:9 aspect ratio and boasts 93% screen-to-body ratio.
The Coolpad Cool 12A comes with an unnamed Spreadtrum chipset which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. It has MicroSD card slot for further expansion.
It has 4000mAh battery with USB Type-C fast charging. It is said to offer about 14 days of standby time. As far as optics go, it has 8MP selfie camera while the back side houses 16MP (main) + 2MP (depth) and LED Flash. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, USB Type-C and GPS.
The Coolpad COOL12A price is 599 Yuan ($88) in China and comes in Dream Black, Dream Blue and Fantasy Silver colors.
